Welcome to the latest iteration of the surprisingly long-lived Atu XVIII. What
began in the distant past as a printed fanzine has now migrated to the web as a rant blog and an eclectic collection
of reviews - books, films, games, anything that takes my fancy.
Many of these reviews began life on my fnapf pages but are being gradually moved
over here as fnapf winds down.
I'm not a professional reviewer, I just review what it pleases me to review. Please don't
ask about sending me review copies of books - at any one time I have a huge pile of books,
DVDs etc to get through.
For this reason my reviews are mainly going to be of back-list books and classic films on
DVD rather than of the latest bestsellers or blockbusters. Approach these reviews with an
open mind and hopefully serendipity will strike.
